I decided last month that it was time for me to get serious about
Spanish, since so much of our work is in Spanish. From Latin and
French study, I can read Spanish and understand a fair bit (It seems
to me that Spanish soaps are even wackier than those in English), but
can't write it without a dictionary or speak it yet.

I finished an introductory textbook, and have read Alice in Wonderland
three times so far in Spanish, and now I am plowing through an
intermediate textbook and looking at what else I would be interested
to read. Gutenberg, Wikipedia, Euclides, and selected novelists and
playwrights so far. On TV, sopas, fútbol, noticias, ciencias...y
buscar a gentes aquí en Indiana con que hablar.

Ha decido en Diciembre que era tiempo por estudiar español
seriosamente, porque más de nuestra trabajo es en español. Porque
estudiaba frances y latin, puedo leer español y comprendir mas, pero
ya no sé escribir sin diccionario, o hablar.

Estudió un libro de texto basico español, y leía Las aventuras de
Alicia en el país de maravillosas en español, tres veces hasta ahora.
Ahora estoy trabajando a traves de un libro de texto intermedio, y
buscando para algo más a leer y a ver. Gutenberg, es.wikipedia,
Euclides, y novelistas y dramaturgos seleccionados. En la TV, sopas,
fútbol, noticias, ciencias...y buscar a gentes aquí en Indiana con que
hablar.
