Hi folks,

This Thursday, 7pm, at the Cal Tech campus in Pasadena we will be
presenting our Internet-in-a-Box project.

This should be of interest to OLPC.

The Internet-in-a-Box is a small server device intended for schools and
communities in the developing world and includes:

-Wikipedia in 40 languages
-Maps to street level world wide
-40,000 e-books
-3,800 Khan Academy videos
-Most of the world's Open Source software including source code and
installable Linux.

A couple functional prototypes will be demo'ed at the meeting.

The host is the San Gabriel Valley Linux User's Group (SGVLUG), and
meeting details can be found at:
http://sgvlug.org

More information about our project is available at:

https://github.com/braddockcg/internet-in-a-box/blob/master/doc/whitepaper/whitepaper-20130221.pdf?raw=true

We are very interested in collaborating with OLPC on this, and I've
already been in contact with Tony A about it.

Thanks,
Braddock Gaskill
