[Olpc-socal] Do We Want an XO Library for OLPC-SoCal?

Hello,

I borrowed an xo from DJ Perry with older firmware-Q2E18.

I tried to upgrade to the latest OS.

The upgrade failed. The data was not deleted nor the user settings.
Now my browsers do not open even though I am connected.

How do I upgrade my firmware.

Hannah Anderson,

I have just become associated with OLPC. I am the comp specialist at
Mountain View School in Goleta, a 4-6 comp teacher at the Montessori
Center School in Goleta, and the IT support person for Cleveland
School in SB.

I have submitted a proposal for a classroom set of xo's for Cleveland
to evaluate their value in STAR prep among other things. I plan to
write a curriculum guide and support the classroom teacher. Mike Vail,
the principal is enthusiastic.

I am trying to get ahold of the xo's that ucsb provided Kellogg school
for their project which are not being used. DJ Perry is now at El
Camino and is using xo's that he was given in his second grade class.
I guess you know that since he said some ucsb students would be
working with him next year on some research.

If the two options above do not work out, is there a possibility of
your club sponsoring my project.
