[Olpc-socal] Correction! Please check it out! OLPC and the UN Bring XOs to Gaza

Hi Folks,I mentioned in my note (copied below) that the XOs in Gaza were XO-1.5s. Actually, they may be XO-1s. I have no way of knowing for sure.  Either way, they are XOs and it is a wonderful use of open source software and technology to help these children get a better education. Be sure to heck out the YouTube video.Caryl

Hi SoCal OSSIE/OLPC/Sugar Fans,


This is happening  a long way from SoCal, but it is too good not to share. The laptops are the new XO-1.5s. They can run the usual XO software, Sugar, or Gnome which looks and acts a lot like Windows.  Both are free open source software. 


Short but sweet.  Enjoy!
