In principle, it should be and if the recipient has no use for it
anymore should be obligated either to return it to OLPC or pass the
unit to a group or individual who needs it. But I don't think this is
even a written OLPC policy or even indicated when a unit is sent from
OLPC to an approved recipient. I might be wrong though.

That's ok I currently have a 1.75 unit from the batch that Ryan
brought over last December. It's been a good unit so far.
