Why does it seem like the project is "going off the rails"? Full-scale
manufacturing is underway. There is a solid order for 100,000 laptops, at
least. The software stack is approaching the "1.0" level of feature
completeness. A huge number of volunteers have stepped up to create a broad
spectrum of innovative educational activities. In short, the OLPC project is
going splendidly.
You are standing in the afternoon of a beautiful, clear summer day, holding an
umbrella and complaining about the rain. You should just be happy, instead.
