Why not a livecd with all the enviroment of laptop? I think it could be

I like the idea of a complete OLPC distribution on a livecd, with install

The only thing that is not implemented  yet is the install option, but the
real problem is that the OLPC  live cd images are not working too well, and
then some work has to be done to arrange that.
