Hi Eleanor

I would very much like to talk with you about how AUT can be involved.
Can we please organise a face to face to kick start the conversation?

There are Auckland based volunteers who meet every Saturday at 11am at
The Windsor, 144 Parnell Road. You are welcome to come to these
gatherings any week. I can also meet with you other days. My mobile is
021 482229 if you would like to call me.

Your offer couldn't have been more well timed in that we are currently
looking at whether there is need to expand what we offer as
volunteers. Presently we are testing hardware and software for OLPC
and Sugarlabs, with some specific deployment support on request (for
example, requests to test builds for Australian and South American
deployments). Dr Barry Vercoe of OLPC Australia is currently in NZ
and has been talking to various parties about potential deployments in
NZ schools.

Thank you very much for making contact with us.

Kind regards
Tabitha Roder

Subject: ICT Services, AUT University
Hi there

I am making enquiries on behalf of AUT, in particular AUT's ICT
Services, in the hope that we will be able to offer help to the OLPC
NZ programme.

It would be very helpful if you can give me an idea of what help is
most required at present and also any ideas of how AUT University as a
whole could be of most use?

I need to provide as much information as possible in order to present
the initiative to the ICT Services Director, who has expressed an
interest in supporting OLPC.
Many thanks in advance for your time.

Kind regards

Eleanor Macfehin
