Hello Jodi

I am in New Zealand and can possibly help you. There are volunteers in
Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch as well as experienced Sugar users in
other places around New Zealand. Where are you? I am in Auckland and we have
volunteer meet-ups every Saturday in Parnell if you would like to come
(11am, the Windsor Castle, 144 Parnell Rd http://thewindsor.co.nz/).

As Adam says, we have a mailing list olpc-nz at lists.laptop.org which you can

We have ordered batteries from http://iLoveMyXO.com

things we can check on your XOs
first to see if the batteries are recoverable first.

Hi Jodi,

1) I'm very concerned you might not be hitting the right power button,
when your laptops are plugged in.  Can you confirm you are fully pushing
the button in the bottom-right corner below the screen -- when the power
is plugged into the wall?

2) OLPC does not sell batteries, but the independent family I mentioned
earlier does ship almost anywhere:
