Settings did not seem to work properly. For a few minutes, changing the
speed control didn't actual speed.

  Measuring between two points:
    - the second point receives the measurement.  After a while, it's easy
to forget which the first point is.
   - Doesn't show units.
   - The distance lingers,
   - Numbers overlap.
