Hi

I am unaware if there is anything happening in Kalimantan.

Getting OLPC XO's into Kalimantan would require a government department, charity, aid ogranisation or school to come up with the funding, around US$200 per laptop. The kind of support you can expect from the OLPC community is generally restricted to pedagogical advice, technical support etc.

There are many volunteering opportunities. You can run the Sugar educational software on a laptop or desktop computer, you don't need an OLPC XO laptop to begin. Volunteering possibilities include translating the software into Bahasa Indonesia, testing, lesson plans and so on.

I hope this helps, if you have further questions please ask.

Tony
