[OLPC-Chicago] ILXO - Upcoming Calendar

Hello there --

Just a quick reminder for the events coming up in the next two weeks:

*Wednesday, July 23
*(at the office - 200 S. Wacker Drive)
*Build 708 Testing Party:* 6-8 pm
Put 708 it through its paces in a school setting, where it's ultimately
going to be deployed. How does this build interact with school servers? With
other XOs on a mesh? When there are huge swarms of them all being used
together in a classroom?

*Music Workshop*: 7-8 pm
An exploration of the TamTam suite - running concurrently for anyone
interested

*Monday, July 28
**Photography and Film making Play Session*: 1-3 pm
Moraine Valley Blue Island, room 105
12940 S. Western Avenue.

Tuesday, July 29*
*Teacher Jam*: 5-9 pm
Google Chicago (20 W. Kinzie St.)

Also note: Participation in this event is open to everyone! You don't have
to have a formal background in education - we want your feedback as well!

*How XOs are made: *6-8 pm
(running concurrently) Learn about the XOs design for manufacturability
(dfm) - why are the separate parts shaped the way they are? In addition to
the examination of the XO's construction, we will also be discussing the
environmental impact of the XO.
