Hello / hoi zämä / ciao,

This is a technical announcement to inform you that the olpc-ch list
posting policy has changed: Emails to olpc-ch at lists.laptop.org from
non-members of the mailing list are now automatically bounced with an
appropriate message (see example below).

I'm using this opportunity to let you all know that as of today there
are about 80 members subscribed to the olpc-ch mailing list.

Regards,
Michael

PS: The few (old, sorry!!) emails that you likely just received from
the list were the only "real" ones out of about 450 (spam) messages in
the moderation queue, so this change certainly made sense. -- Until
now, such emails were held in a queue to be moderated, but as the
overwhelming majority of all such posts were spam, moderating these
makes really no sense; the rare real person who posts without
subscribing will hopefully read and understand the message below,
subscribe and re-post. This does NOT change anything for everybody
already subscribed to the list, or new members who can still easily
subscribe. Everything is as before, except for posts by non-members.

mailing list receives automatically now:

Posting to the olpc-ch mailing list (olpc-ch at lists.laptop.org) is for
mailing list members only.

You can join the olpc-ch mailing list easily at
http://lists.laptop.org/listinfo/olpc-ch. When you subscribe, it would
be nice if you would briefly introduce yourself via an email to the
list.

You will have to resend your email to the mailing list after you
subscribed to it.
