Rather new to all this Mailing List stuff ... but here goes.

Best way to introduce myself is to share my online journal with you - this 
I mainly keep as an historical record but it is proving to be useful for 
letting folk know what I'm about.

And a bit of personal data - I'm a retired teacher/IT person - recently 
relocated from Townsville to Pomona in the Sunshine Coast hinterland.
