I normally use an external USB keyboard (which does not have a grab key)
with the XO.  I've found that using the (simultaneous three-key)
combination  < shift-ctrl- >  plus the up/down arrow key will scroll a
line at a time;  plus the PgUp/PgDown key will scroll a page at a time.

[Since the XO keyboard does not have PgUp/PgDown, scrolling a page at a
time on the XO itself requires using a (simultaneous four-key)
combination  < ctrl-shif-fn- >  plus the up/down arrow key.]
