Back in August in this thread I advocated cloning a customised image
from one laptop to another, for the purpose of loading a group of
laptops. I've since been rapped over the knuckles and would like to
point out that:
1. it is not supported by OLPC's deployment support team, if the image
has been booted before being cloned,
2. there may be side-effects we don't know about that might cause
problems later.
The relevant Wiki pages have been updated.
