Hi, All,

  I contacted with some teachers, and get some feedback on this proposal.

  One of them asked:
    1. How to maintain these XOs?
    2. Let every kids get the laptop or keep it in the classroom?
    3. How to prevent the XO be stolen?

  Another, as a rural teacher, he has some concerns:

  1、拿到这些电脑，如何去教学生，教什么？
  1. How to teach student, and what will be teach after XO arrived.

2、学习时间问题。我们这边，一到八年级都是不住校的，这电脑可能更适合小学生一些吧，由于不住校，学生放学就得回家，如果留校培训电脑的话，延误放学时间，学校现在是怕担责任的，我想如果我个人去做，学校这里估计过不了。
  2. When these kids use XO? everyday the class is full, and there is no
extra time to use XO. If private action, I think it will break the school's
rule.

  3.如果我通过学校，采取一些行政上的手段，但又有现成的机房空置的先例，我觉得又受以成事。
  3. Follow school's rule, these old computers are still not used,  maybe
XO will follow them, be locked in the classroom.

说实在的，我对OLPC还是一个很初步的认识，甚至谈不上什么认识，因为我现在只是在网络上搜索了一些图片，看到大致是一个什么样子，从来没有接触到这类电脑，不清楚它是什么样的，能做什么，以及如何做到的问题。

昨天晚上我和长城通话的时候，谈到过我们学校现在的大致情况，学校有一批电脑，是上级上管部门以采购的方式，然后配送到学校的，大概06年的样子，我们学校拿到了“农远”项目，然后组建起了机房（30能学校生，一台教师机，一台服务器，无盘工作站）、一个装有投影仪的教室，还有一个是使用卫星接收数据的教室，这一套设备到底值多少钱，我也说不清，但大致使用了一年之后，就基本停下来了，到现在，这些电脑都开不了机了。

这学校又来了30台电脑，商用机那种，有几种被学校各办公室用了，还余下20多台，装到学校机房了，但现在课还没能开起来了。

说这些情况，我只是想表达学校计算机教育与应用很不受重视。

我平时业余时间爱自己折腾一下电脑，当是丰富下自己的业余生活了。如何教信息技术，培养学生这方面的能力，我暂时也停留在只有一些简单的原始的想而已。

说实在的，我也希望能帮我们学校的学生们争取到这个项目，但我又有些担心：
