[OLPC-Asia] OLPC的中国大陆的更新---10月8日

Dear All:

I have made some prestation about OLPC in community activities (Suzhou
Linux User group / Wuxi Linux User Group), feedback from audiences are as
following:

1, How to make Chinese students interested in the OLPC;
2, Which age range we focused, 3-7 or 8-10, or 11-12;
3, How to design more applications for the Chinese students, not just
translation;
4, Can we develop any tools to allow interested teachers involved in the
production application;
5, In order to reduce duplication of effort, We need to consider that
compatibility of the application can be easily migrated to next-generation
OLPC systems (Android? Meego?);
6, We need find better ways to guide students and teachers to use the OLPC

I contact an university organization named "大山里的魔法教室" (Magic classroom in
Mountains), if you can provide some divice for them, I`d like to support
them on howto use OLPC and how to convey ideas to those  magic classroom.

We need this kind of activities to get best practice in china.
