We are a networking equipment startup, Zoltan Technology Inc., in Taiwan. Zoltan positions itself as a value-add ODM/OBM/OEM provider strongly collaborates with local chipset vendors and manufacturers to provide ingenuous, cost competitive solutions and products to our customers.

Recently, we built a pocket-sized USB2.0 Ethernet adapter targeting handheld and mobile device accessory market, including OLPC. Detailed product datasheet and a picture of a working sample in mockup case are available for reference.

This is the smallest and cheapest (below $10 FOB Taiwan) USB-to-Ethernet adapter people can find in the market. Its miniature size (40mm x 22mm x 14mm) harmonize side-by-side naturally with OLPC. It is also software compatible with most popular AX88772 controller under the hood which Linux 2.6 supports the driver source.  Furthermore, we are more than happy to customize it for the color, logo and look-and-feel stuff for OLPC. 

Sincerely, we would like to be a steady supplier of the low price Ethernet adapter to contribute to the OLPC project, if OLPC users ever need Ethernet connectivity.
