[Localization] Fwd: [Sugar-devel] Sugar 0.93.2 delayed by 2 days

Dear Localizers,

This will not necessarily slip the entire schedule, so we still have a
string freeze approaching quickly.

Honestly, not a lot of strings are expected to change, so *right  now*
 is the time to be localizing furiously and reviewing and committing
the PO files.

Just to be clear a "string freeze" is not a restriction on localizers,
it is a restriction on developers from introducing new strings
(without requesting an exception from the Localization list).   The
idea is to give localizers a chance to catch up with the latest
changes just before release.

Such requests for string freeze breaks do happen and they are usually
granted; because at that phase of development they are usually
introducing important bits of functional dialog.

Unfortunately, there are very few (if any)  projects that are 100%
complete.  We just picked up a bunch of new Fructose strings from the
calculate activity.  Please look at your language projects and push to
complete Glucose and Fructose, please recruit others to the L10n
community.  Organize translation marathons, stay up late or wake up
early to contribute strings, please do whatever you can do.

I would like to make a special plea to the Spanish localizers and lang
admins to complete their work, not only because Spanish-speaking kids
are our largest audience, but because I am working with Peru to
empower translation from Spanish into Andean indigenous languages
(e.g. Aymara / Quechua) and so I need Spanish 100% complete (and
reviewed).

Hi,

we have been working hard in the last days on landing the envisioned
Features and API changes. We are close, but it will take another two
days. All the items have been going through several rounds of review
and design discussions already. The open items are:

- Adding $HOME/Documents to volumes toolbar
- Filter in Home View
- Add view source for sugar-toolkit
- Add clone to view-source submenu
