[Localization] Localised LiveCDs, is it possible?

How is the liveCD image produced?
e.g. if you are already running a localized XO environment and run the build
scripts for the liveCD  doesn't they pick up all files so the result is that
live CD has the ~/.i18n with all the settings ?
