In Haïti, yes.

We'll send XOs to a few linguists and translators and they will chase
translation oddities by exploring the UI themselves.  

(I expect a lot of discussions... imagine putting linguists (even non-IT
people) and let them check whether the english in use in some normal app
is proper english?)

Anyway, I agree that checking the translation directly by using the
activities is crucial.
