Anybody want to tackle this? This would be ideal content for the XO
laptop, and not by any means only for Senegal. People from both OLPC
and Tostan (Breakthrough in the Wolof language) could get on each
others' lists to discuss. Then we could talk about how to get the
software to Senegal, whether on the OLPC XO or via Live CDs and
downloads to other platforms.

Molly Melching and the women of Senegal have been named People of the
Year by OneWorld voters across the planet. The movement to end female
genital cutting (FGC) continues to spread across many parts of Africa,
and Molly Melching and the women of Senegal are leading the way with
innovative, culturally sensitive programs to educate and relieve
suffering.

But FGC remains a socially and culturally challenging issue for many
around the world. Molly and the women of Senegal are ready to answer
your questions about the practice, about traditional cultures, and
their lives and work in West Africa. Click here to post your questions
or comments by Feb. 25 and we'll send them on to Senegal:
