Thanks for your efforts to invigorate this area.
A year ago, we developed a $10 sensor to measure heart rate.

We packaged it within a small plastic case and developed a lesson plan with
the help of a local educator.
I distributed the sensors to a few developers and pilot programs, but have a
few spare parts to build several more units.
Would you be interested?
Perhaps you could use them within your agenda to get children active outside
and collecting data.
