Hi

I am Aditya Vishwakarma, a student of Information Technology at NSIT, Delhi.

As a GSoC project, i would like to develop an internationalized version of
scrabble, using the codebase of ProScrabble(
http://logical-games.mcctm.com/scrabble.html).

The game would play like normal scrabble. However, i plan to use speech
synthesis so that letters and formed words are spoken out too.
It would have varying levels of difficulty, range from fairly basic board
play to a full blown tournament level difficulty. Multiplayer support will
also be included, with ability to chat and watch the ongoing game.

After initial development is complete, the game can be expanded even more.
It can use speech recognition so that the student has to spell out the
formed word correctly to win points.

I can use cario for developing the UI, pango/gettext for achieving
internationalization, telepathy for enabling chat.

Waiting for opinions,
Aditya
