Hi Isabella,

Just to clarify OLPC's recommended minimum order of 10,000 XO laptops is 
not the final word -- see for example OLPC Canada's announcements around 
enabling 5000 aboriginal youth with XO-1.5s just last week:

Rest assured our volunteer community leader in the Dominican Republic 
(Ivan) will try calling you later this week, to explore what you might 
want to invest in, alongside him and the broader OLPC grassroots 
community network in the Dominican Republic and Haiti.
