I've updated [[G1G1 2008]] with more details, though not much about
worldwide availability. The initial launch on Nov 17 will be just
for the US; but there is work underway to launch the program in the
UK, Germany and Japan. Regulatory and recycling issues are among the
bottlenecks; Amazon does not currently ship electronics to very many
countries.[1]
We could use a text-only version for emailing, and translations of
that page and the [[G1G1 FAQ]].

The Amazon store should be updated with real html soon; we are looking
into a properly dynamic and updated amazon store like o'reilly's,
featuring an amazon blog about g1g1 (I like this one:
http://www.amazon.com/OReilly-Books/b?ie=UTF8&node=69860).

[1] for books about the XO, on the other hand...

I received my copy of the Lulu POD book produced from the August book
sprint, and it is a hot item around the office.
Now to get an XO book up on Amazon by early next month...
