Dear all,

Happy 2008!

Since a lot of people found this list via the G1G1 FAQ on the
laptop.org website, they were directed to send mail here without being
pointed to the mailman page to sign up.  We had a backlog of mail from
people who weren't list members that I am just now forwarding to the
list.

On a related note: we could use a few more mailing list moderators for
our growing # of community lists; if you are interested, please let me
know offlist.
