[OLPC-Games] Speaking of Poetry

Ok I am having trouble deciding whether to use google docs, pronkle docs, or zoho spreadsheet. Google = free but not world editable. Maybe we can make a hawaiian petition. Pronkle = world editable but it doesn't exist yet. Zoho = free, commercial, don't know on editability.
I guess we need a wiki page. Can you translate the phrase "magnetic poetry" into hawaiian? And perhaps social -, community-, party- prefixes?
problem w world editability is potty mouth porn party poopers. We would want wiki weeders. In pronkle sheets, option of requiring wiki weeder role to be filled prior to lunch might be nice.
it might be fun to distract porn party poopers by actively scanning registration ip origins, and having an autonomous virtualized peer to peer rebel alliance spoof server taunt the deathstar into denial of service dances, and scoop them into a virtualized ip zone so that kids and conglomerates don't get caught in the crossfire.
Or maybe porn party poopers, as the Wall once said, will "leave us kids alone"
(is there a hawaiian phrase for "teleport to wiki and link to related archived mailing lst entry?" Willywonkavate? Wikivate? I guess these would be neohawaiian.)

Todd,
Great! I am glad someone is in tune with the global visionof One Laptop Per Klingon! That is an area that is definitely underserved. :)
Lets get the spreadhsheet started, and Ill look into the world editable options.
And away we go....

soudns like a wonderful idea.
I could help make a spreadsheet so that the pairs could be translated into every language in the universe, including klingon and elvish.
i refuse to work with esperanto unless william shatner gets involved.
we would need a world editable spreadsheet though, and i dont know if zoho or google would be willing to do that. we might need to make it?

Would anyone be interested in helping meto develop a Magnetic Poetry game in several languages? Something very simple, drag and drop, that would work on the Mesh Network so that it could be collaborative?

"Fascinating for me to sit here and realize the interplay and influence that music can have -- it is a part of my life, yet I havent continued as I could, partly out of thinking "there are more important things". but it has its place. i am sitting at olpc offices, and someone is playing pink floyd, and I think music is a gift of creativity that can inspire an atmosphere of creativity, and the range of such echoes is infinite." - Me
