Here is a forward from Jennie Stenhouse, who is enthusiastic about
developing gaming frameworks for the XO, and was happy for it to be
forwarded to the list.
Some of the ideas I love here :
* one-switch games
* sound-input games
* camera-based games
* frameworks for games for young kids (who don't have the most precise motor
moveements)
Other thoughts?

Hiya!
I guess there is a couple of directions that could happen with the framework
idea and I need to go over a bit more what has allready been discussed. I am
really really intreasted in the camera and the sound input capablitys i think
these could be used and open up intreasting possiblitys for kids to interact
that would other wise belimted by not being being able to use fine motor
control movements required for mouse, keyboard and touch screen, While at
university I worked on the design and evlopement of a game frame work for new
zealand kindergarten children. The games involved where based of research of
some of the early education and child devlopment therosits like vygotsky. I
really think that something very cool can be done with some of the ideas that
we started with there. He he I didn't mean to start in to a ramble! Hopefully I
will have sorted out my new accomadation tommoorow or by wensday. Then I will
be able to get stuck in to this more! Sorry if this is a bit of a brain barf
but I am very excited about the project :)
Talk to you soon and always happy to bounce back ideas back and forth
