[Etoys] invalid utf-8 input detected

Hi.
Which version of VM on which platform do you use?

I get same error when I open 3.0 image with legacy 3.8 VM on windows.
But etoys.exe in http://tinlizzie.org/olpc/OLPC-Etoys080211.zip works for me.
(that is 3.10.6 VM;
