[Etoys] #3276 BLOC Trial-3: Spanish translation for Etoys

I have some questions regarding l10n of etoys/squeak/smalltalk...
From what I saw, the .PO file includes basically three kinds of
i18n objects:
- end user strings
- method selectors / symbols
- class names
[end user strings] are relatively easy to translate and harmless
(in the sense that they shouldn't break anything if they are
mistranslated or lose context).
But [selectors] & [class] symbols would seem to be a totally
different story. I haven't had the time to see the i18n/POT code,
but for example, care must be taken so that polymorphism is not
broken, and that the semantics preserved (ie: parameter
sequence).
Apart from trying to load the POs and manually verify the
translations, is there any other way to do some sanity checks on
the translated POs? Like verify polimorphism in the l10n PO? Or
that there are no conflicts in the translated selectors? (ie: two
differente selectors translated to the same string) And things
like that?
Currently you can try to do it manually, but it may be hard to
scale as more and more i18n-ized toys & projects are l10n-ized...
Cheers,
Xavier
