Yes, I also got 24 fps!

I see the same. I *guess* (I need to confirm it) the "flick" is caused
by the frames skipped by the webcam's driver.  If you run dmesg, you'll
see a lot of messages (from the driver) telling this situation.

Is supposed the solution is to request the driver for another framerate. I tried
with 20 and the driver choose 30; I tried with 15, and the driver
complains but the "skipping-frames" messages still appears.

I need to investigate a little bit more.
