Yes I will hatch my evil plans soon.  We have a three pronged attack

1)  Enable the vmeta dsp and hook that up to gstreamer
2)  get iWMMxT accelerated codepaths wherever possible.  Marvell
provided us with an optimized vp8 encoder and I have looked at some of
the optimizations that exist in ffmpeg to see if they can be applied
elsewhere.
3)  Not that I am doing this, but switching to F17 and hardfp builds.
Encoding our audio is actually one of the biggest pigs, as it is all
floating point and we are doing all of that number crunching in
software.

I will keep everyone apprised of new information as my plan unfolds.
