Hi,
Yesterday, I update my Ubuntu to 12.04.
When make it, appears a error with sugar. When I try usethe TurtleArt activity give this error:
Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/bin/sugar-activity", line 21, in <module> main.main() File "/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/sugar/activity/main.py", line 121, in main module = __import__(module_name) File "/home/alan/Activities/TurtleBots.activity/TurtleArtActivity.py", line 68, in <module> from TurtleArt.tacollaboration import Collaboration File "/home/alan/Activities/TurtleBots.activity/TurtleArt/tacollaboration.py", line 23, in <module> from dbus.gobject_service import ExportedGObject File "/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/dbus/gobject_service.py", line 27, in <module> from gi.repository import GObject as gobject File "/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/gi/__init__.py", line 23, in <module> from ._gi import _API, RepositoryImportError: could not import gobject (error was: ImportError('When using gi.repository you must not import static modules like "gobject". Please change all occurrences of "import gobject" to "from gi.repository import GObject".',))
The problem: a new python-dbus library. In Oneiric, I have the Python dbus 0.84.0-2.With the new Ubuntu, it install: 1.0.0-1 and giveme that problem..
Downgrading the version of 1.0.0-1 to 0.84.0-2 (manually) the problem is solved..
Someone know more about this? The ideal was the new library works good with all oldcodes..
Regards!
alan
