In a way, yes... but for a deployment, the idea is to split the
functionality a bit...

I should be posting a howto RSN on how to use some of the XS
components to run an activation server without all the crazy show OLPC
uses.

That's a somewhat confusing. What are you trying to do...? Assuming
you have local keys...
