He *wants* the wlan, but to act as an 802.11b/g and not 802.11s. So
they switch off the mesh ('s') functionality during boot before NM
sees it.
Now in suspend/resume, the wlan gets restarted and wham! it's running
as a mesh node again. If you can whack it before NM sees it, you're
fine.
