I've been using my XO to read the tutorial materials while at the LISA 
conf, but one issue that I'm running into is that when I turn off the 
backlight (to save battery) and then the machine suspends (as I haven't 
hit a key for a while) when I then hit a key it wakes up and turns on the 
backlight, and I can't turn it off again without first turning up the 
backlight (and the first 'up' takes the screen to very dim) and then turn 
it down again.

the nice thing is that with the network turned off and the backlight off I 
go through a 8 hour day and the XO says that it still has half it's 
battery left


I'm also running into an intermittent bug where I will try to start the 
browser, it will give me the trobber for a while, then take me back to the 
home screen. If I try to start the rowser again it will start up fairly 
quickly. I've been seeing this where nothing else is running on the 
machine.
