Please help test our new 8.2.0 weekly beta, joyride-2301!

Will do.
First I have to solve the switching back and forward between 8.2 and 8.1.
After running 8.2 and then switching back to 8.1 (by alternate boot) 
activities do not start
(problems with finding their home directory).
Rainbow changes between 8.1 and 8.2 are getting in the way ;-).
This will most likely end up as a separate ticket  in trac ;-).

I understand. It is only reassuring to see I am not the only one with 
touchpad problems.
Currently I do not want to pass on *my* XO to my grandson (who is the 
intended recipient of my XO from the beginning)
with the state the touchpad/mouse is in under 8.2.

As I wrote before I hope to get some more results to be added to the 
ticket over the weekend.
