SVGALIB on Frame Buffer Device inside XO

I've just tried this on a Debian XO, it did not work, but I do not know
why.  The screen went blank, svgalib allocated a virtual console, then
there was a segmentation fault.  The test program was svncviewer.

On the other hand, mplayer -vo fbdev ... does work.
