With the current Ubuntu 7.10 packages I announced a while ago and which 
are kept quite up to date with git master branch that is possible now. 
Sugar can be selected from GDM but needs modifications to work well on 
all screen resolutions.

Not all of what is on the XO is ready but it will in time (fix xulrunner
pyxocom traceback, add etoys and csound, and other bits)
