The exact parameters could include:

- battery connector pinout,

- maximum current to use,

- voltage not to exceed,

- battery capacity in amp-hours,

- source for connectors,

- optimum metal thickness for the pins inserted into the connector,

- optimum metal type,

- hand waving or sacrifices needed.  ;-)
