I see from the mailing list archives that late November a load of drivers 
were removed from the kernel including CONFIG_PCNET32.

Is there any chance that one could be reinstated? I'd like to run the 
emulation using vmware rather than qemu, and there is currently no way to 
get the network working on vmware as it doesn't emulate the same network 
cards as qemu.
