Re Trial-2 activity & sugar release notes.

Fyi, build 542 runs in qemu (unlike many 5xx builds),
but networking remains broken.1

Build 505 remains the most recent build known to "work"
(ie, except for sound, camera/video, and being a long slog
to set up, it's basically ok).

For Trial-3, it might be worth committing up front to keeping
emulation unbroken, so that emulation-based QA folks can be
recruited and contribute.
