The first BTest1 OLPC system reached Cambridge this morning, several
days late due to being held up in customs on paper-work. 250 machines
were assembled Tuesday in Shanghai, and the rest of the total BTest1
build of 875 (IIRC) will be assembled in Shanghai starting in a few
hours. We expect the first of these to be shipped from Shanghai after
burn-in and testing sometime next week.
On behalf of all of us at OLPC and others working on the XO system, we
would like to thank all of you for your help and support. Without you,
the free and open source software community, this project would not be
possible.
Best Regards,
