Hi,

if it was possible to have the sysprof kernel module for version 1.0.5
instead of 1.0.3 (and the corresponding sysprof package on the devel
image) it would make it much easier for profiling sugar.

>From version 1.0.5 sysprof comes with a text-mode collector that makes
it much more useful for us. I think it would be easier to update the
kernel module than to sugarize sysprof (or backport the 1.0.5
sysprofile-text to use the 1.0.3 module).

Also I don't understand what means "oprofile may come for free as a
result of sysprof", I think that oprofile needs it's own kernel module,
although both use the same kernel infrastructure.

Don't know if it's possible/easy to use oprofile on the geode, but I
think that would be nice to have both profilers in order to compare the
results.
