yes, it is in rev a, but the goal is still 512kb in production.

I will continue to work with my -tiny 2.6.14 for now and see what I can do
with the other stuff (I do have gc etc. on)

if somebody wants to point me at a favorite tiny kernel tree to use, I can
work with that too. This is not essential to fix immediately, the only
concern tomorrow is vga.
