I'll 2nd those reports. Bitworks has a product with a custom USB
stack in it and I'm dealing with a lot of the same issues.
If you look at a lot of the consumer type products with USB on them
most of them have a "known good" list.
As another data point the 3 different types of USB keys I've used with
my OLPC all work fine _without_ a powerd hub. My 1GiB key runs the
redhat build with no errors. The others are too small for the redhad
build so I've not tested them.
