You can do either, but we're still working out the correct procedure and
software for overwriting the main flash, so don't try that just yet.

If you write a broken image to the main (SPI) flash, your board is
useless.  If you write one to the PLCC, you can return to the Insyde
BIOS by removing the PLCC.  Having the PLCC allows us to test ROM
images reversibly, and without losing the Insyde BIOS permanently.
