[olpc-help] jabber enabled, but nobody in my neighborhood. Why?

I've tried several jabber servers, eg the one at collabora.co.uk, xochat.org, and one other one.  I rebooted after each change.  But nobody shows up in my neighborhood view.

Am I doing something wrong?  Surely, somebody is out there at all hours of the day or night?

What's the most populated jabber server to try?
